From sidewalk cafés to pool, beach and everything in between, the 2017 vintage is just the thing. There are several expressions from incredibly diverse regions of origin that are worth exploring. And remember: while the fresh vintages are ready now and prime for drinking, rosé is versatile enough to be enjoyed year-round.

Summer Reds

Planning a summer soiree? Heading to a BBQ? Way too hot but craving something with a touch of tannic grip? A chilled red is the answer! Although red wine often conjures up the image of a crackling fireplace, a lightly chilled red wine can actually make for a wonderful reprieve from usual summer standbys like rosé and Sauvignon Blanc. High acid, low tannin, moderate alcohol reds are perfect in warmer weather.
