DELIVERY INFORMATION

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

When you receive your order will depend on what level of service you have chosen for your package(s). 2nd Day Air Service is our recommended level of service to ensure the safe transportation of your wine. Ground service can take up to five business days from the time your package is delivered from the fulfillment warehouse. Please note that we do not process orders over the weekend. Most orders received during the week are processed within 24 hours, and are subject to product availability.

HOW ARE DELIVERY RATES CALCULATED?

VinPorter deliveries are all handled by a 3rd party shipping company who work with FedEx, UPS, and Golden State Overnight. Our delivery and handling rates are based on the weight and number of bottles in your order. Insurance value has a baseline of $100, if you would like more insurance placed on your shipment please inquire.  In some instances we will increase the insurance on your behalf.

Depending on the circumstance your package may be subject to handling charges. The charges do include handling and packing material.

WHAT IS A DEFAULT DELIVERY ADDRESS?

A default delivery address is your billing address, please provide us an address where a valid 21 or over signature can be attained.

WILL I NEED TO SIGN FOR MY PACKAGE?

Deliveries containing wine require a signature by someone 21 years or older. Our carriers will only make three attempts to deliver and you are responsible for the cost of returned or undeliverable items.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?

For orders already placed please email orders@vinporter.com or call (707) 294-2680. To edit an address, click on My Account. The details of your account are displayed. Click on the Edit button below the address that has to be changed.

DO YOU DELIVER INTERNATIONALLY?

Currently our website is set up to only process orders for delivery within the United States. Please call (707) 294-2680 to inquire about international delivery.

CAN I EXPEDITE A DELIVERY?

Please call us at (707) 294-2680 if you require expedited or specific date delivery.

CAN I HAVE MULTIPLE DELIVERY ADDRESSES?

Yes. You can specify as many delivery addresses as you want. However, each order can have only one delivery address. If you need to send to multiple addresses, then create an order for each.

REPRESENTATION

We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to deliver or import wines into any state outside California, Alaska, California, District of Columbia, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming. All alcoholic beverages are sold in California and title passes to the buyer in this state. The buyer is solely responsible for delivery of alcoholic beverages. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. Alcoholic beverages may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. In placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years of age and the person to whom delivery will be made is at least 21 years old. When your alcoholic beverages are delivered, the person receiving the delivery will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. We reserve the right to correct all pricing errors.
