Château L’Evangile is an 18th century property that now sits in the collective of the esteemed family of Les Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite). The 22 hectares of vineyard share a rare soil with two world-renowned vineyards, Château Pétrus to the north and Cheval Blanc to the south. Predominantly Merlot with a touch of Cab Franc, this “Grand Vin” is aged for 18 months in new French oak, balancing the ripe concentrated fruit notes with quality tanins, making it ripe for aging.
