Taurasi

Taurasi is one of the great red wines from southern Italy, within the region of Campania. It is made from the indigenous Aglianico grape. These wines have an almost Zinfandel-like character, with intense spice, dried fruits, and impressive concentration. They are typically aged in larger wood, to tame some of their power, and they rank among the most ageworthy wines in Italy.
