2004 Col d'Orcia Olmaia 1.5L

$134.00

Among the rolling hills of Tuscany lies the Col d’Orcia estate, known as the ‘the hill overlooking the Orcia River’ when translated. Their dedication to quality originates from their integrity for the land, respect for traditional winemaking and perfect growing conditions. This quality is reflective in the Olmaia, a bold wine made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. A full-bodied wine, laden with noble spices, ripe blackberries, culminating into a long finish. Pair this elegant wine with grilled meats and roasts.

Sant'Antimo

Sant'Antimo is the village near the hill of Montalcino, in Tuscany. Montalcino is famous for the great wines of Brunello, but Montalcino also grows incredible Bordeaux varieties, and some Syrah. The Sant'Antimo appellation covers wines made from grapes other than Brunello (the local name for Sangiovese). Often, the wines from this appellation are made from Cabernet Sauvignon, but they are also blended with Merlot and Syrah.
