Beni di Batasiolo is a 360-acre estate with vineyards scattered through various appellations of the Barolo region of Piedmont. The estate headquarters is in Batasiolo; the Dogliani brothers, who own the estate, named the business Beni di Batasiolo, or “estates” of Batasiolo. The Brunate has a color of deep garnet red with orange tinges. The full-bodied, tannic, and balanced nebbiolo pairs well with red meats, game, roasts, cheeses, and cured meats but sips beautifully on its own.
