Château de Chaintres is a 17th century château located along the "Route du Vin" in the heart of the Loire Valley. The famous "clos" - white limestone walls, encapsulate the vineyards. This Cabernet Franc is sourced from the oldest vines of the clos (60 years old, planted in clay and limestone soil). Concentrated and woody, the wine opens up to reveal a mouthful of wild berries.
