Feudi Di San Gregorio began in 1986 in the town of Sorbo Serpico in the province of Avellino. Their purpose was simple: combine centuries-old winemaking tradition while protecting and promoting native southern Italian grape varieities. Serpico is a nod to that tradition; 100% Aglianico aged 18 months in toasted French oak followed by 12 months in bottle prior to release. The color is bright ruby red with a bouquet of cherry jam, sweet spices, coffee and cacao. The mouth is a perfect balance of spice, minerality and a long, persistent finish.
