This blend is predominantly Sangiovese, with a touch of Sagratino, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot blended in. Grapes are grown in Bevagna, in the heart of Umbria. Aging takes place at the Lunelli Family estate in the region; 18 months in barrel followed by a minimum of 12 months in bottle. The nose is a mix of fruit and floral; violets and cherries with a hint of mineral graphite. The palate is explosive with ripe, but well-structured fruit and tannins. Ready to drink tonight but also holds the potential for further aging.
