"Peyre Lebade" translates to "raised rock" - a nod to the former limestone quarry that once occupied the site of this Bordeaux Château. The first traces of viticulture on the site date back to the 12th century; today the Château is under the helm of Baron Benjamin de Rothschild and a integral part of the Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) portfolio. This predominately Merlot blend carries the typical fruity and fleshy characteristics known to the Haut-Médoc appellation. Light tannins and well defined fruit finish the wine.
