2011 Dom. Antonin Guyon Beaune Chaume Gaufriot Monopole

A “clos” refers to a walled vineyard, often the vineyards of Cistercian monasteries, as is the case with this 1.9 acre single vineyard located west of the town of Beaune in the heart of Burgundy. This 100% Pinot Noir is aged for 18 months in 25% new French oak. A beautiful ruby red boasting red fruit, floral and spice flavors with a soft minerality on the finish.
