Domaine Bertagna once belonged tot he Cistercian monks, famous for founding the nearby Clos de Vougeot in the 13th century. The domaine now encompasses 21 hectares covering 18 diverse appellations within Burgundy, 12 of which are Premier and Grand Crus. This shining example of Chambertin Grand Cru is full of ripe blackberry, wild cherries, and roasted mushroom that explode in a depth and length that lingers in the mouth. A lovely match for aged cheese or roasted meats.
