A family-owned domaine run by the 5th generation, Domaine Jean-Michel Alquier is one of the best-known names in the Languedoc region of Faugères. The "Bastides" cuvee is the most modern of the Alquier family; predominantly Syrah, blended with Grenache and aged in 40% new French oak. The result is a rich, savory wine with complex gamey notes.
