Côtes de Bordeaux is an appellation you may not be so familiar with, but you should be. Domaine de L'A is helping to promote this lesser-known region by creating wines that identify this place and soil. The hilly area on the Right Bank is comprised of five different regions, Castillon neighbors the more famous region of Saint-Émilion and shares many of the same prominent grape varieties and nuances of terroir. This bottling is predominantly Merlot blended with Cabernet Franc.
