2012 MontGras Ninquen Red

Ninquén, meaning “Plateau on the mountain” in a native Chilean dialect, was established in 1998 as Chile’s first ever mountain vineyard. A blend of Cabernet Sauvginon and Syrah, the wine in your glass is the result of a triple selection process: first in the vineyard with grapes from specific blocks and rows, on the sorting table, and lastly in the final blend. Ripe black fruit with a warm and juicy personality.

Colchagua Valley

Colchagua Valley is located within Chile's Central Valley, and is best know for high quality Cabernet Sauvignon and other red wines. The microclimate is impacted by the warm ripening conditions from the valley, combined with a convection affect that brings cool air from the Andes. This serves to moderate the temperatures and bring balance to the wines.
