From the heart of Noto DOC, located in the historic district of Buonivini and Agliastro (where Nero D’Avola has always been grown), comes Planeta’s interpretation of this famous wine. After racking, the wine is aged for 10 months in 2 and 3 year old Allier oak barriques. The result is a wine that is vibrantly acidic, with dark fruit aromas such as mulberry and blackberry. Spice and balsamic notes round out this elegant expression.
