Portia is the signature release from the Portia estate in Spain’s exciting Ribera del Duero region, brought to you by the owners of Bodegas Faustino, a leading producer of wines from Rijoa. The grapes used in Crizana are grown at an altitude of 2,690 feet above sea level on sandy clay soils. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and notes of vanilla and toasted oak translate into a structured, well-balanced wine with a long vanilla finish. Pair with chorizo, creamy risottos and semi-hard cheeses such as manchego or gruyere.
