2013 MontGras Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

Chile’s vineyard area dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon is second only to France; the variety thrives in the Central Valley and sub-appellations. This Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the Colchagua Valley and aged for 8 months in a blend of French and American Oak, providing structure, depth, and a supple texture. A beautiful deep crimson color draws you into a glass bursting with blackberry and plum, mocha, vanilla and cedar.

ABV % = 14

Colchagua Valley

Colchagua Valley is located within Chile's Central Valley, and is best know for high quality Cabernet Sauvignon and other red wines. The microclimate is impacted by the warm ripening conditions from the valley, combined with a convection affect that brings cool air from the Andes. This serves to moderate the temperatures and bring balance to the wines.
