Grapes for this Wild Carignan Reserve are harvested from non-irrigated, head-trained, low-yield old vines grown in chalky soil on the slopes of the Judean hills. The grapes are fermented for 10 days, and then transferred to French and American oak barrels to mature for 9 months. The resulting wine is rich, tannic, fruity and herbal.
