In Argentina, Cabernet Sauvignon is typically picked towards the end of the harvest, in late March. The mix of two French native varieties with the Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc created the Cabernet Sauvignon. This variety is suited to nearly any type of climate but obtains optimum performance in warm weather. Algodon Wine’s Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep red wine with strong fruits, mainly blackcurrant and blackberry, strong structure and tannins, with a clear acid and medium to high alcohol level. The color is deep, generally opaque, red, or purple.
