2015 Markgraf Von Baden Bermatinger Spätburgunder

The Markgrafs of Baden have been pioneers in the standards of quality for Baden winegrowing and winemaking since the 12th century. Today, the vineyards enjoy prime southern exposures in Baden, one of the warmest and sunniest regions in Germany. Prime growing conditions for the fickle Pinot Noir grape, the family gently guides the wine into bottle, with minimal intervention. The result is smooth and structured with depth of fruit and integrated flavors on the palate.

ABV % = 13

Baden is located in western Germany, just across the border from France's Alsace region. Baden makes powerful dry and off-dry Rieslings, and is also famous for its Pinot Noir wines. The climate is one of the warmest in Germany, which enables the Pinot to ripen fully and yield pretty, elegant red wines.
