Puiatti has been a leader in innovative winemaking since 1967. Bordered by Slovenia, Austria and the Adriatic Sea, Friuli enjoys a combination of continental and maritime climates that result in a unique microclimate which favors northern winegrowing while benefitting from Mediterranean influences. This wine is made with an innovative technique called Infusion, a process where a quantity of carefully and individually hand-destemmed berries is added to the Ribolla wine from the previous year. In the absence of oxidation (typical of maceration processes), the alcohol in the wine extracts the aromatic components contained in the skins of this unique grape variety.
