Beni di Batasiolo is a 360-acre estate with vineyards scattered through various appellations of the Barolo region of Piedmont. The estate headquarters is in Batasiolo; the Dogliani brothers, who own the estate, named the business Beni di Batasiolo, or "estates" of Batasiolo. The d'Alba color is ruby red with violet tinges with good acidity and very delicate tannins. A well-balanced wine like this is the perfect accompaniment for appetizers and cheese, pasta, first courses, and white and red meat.
