2016 Leo Steen Saini Vineyard Chenin Blanc

This wine opens up with a nose that’s very minerally, followed by beeswax, quince paste, and ripe pear. On the palate, it shows bright acidity that adds poise and length to flavors of almond paste, dried herbs, and white peach all of which carry through to a long, complex, and creamy finish in an oxidative style. Enjoy now or leave it in the cellar to develop more intense flavors.
