Ojai's 2016 Chardonnay comes from a warm, drought-affected vintage. They harvested the vineyard three weeks ahead of schedule, but the vines budded early because of the mild winter, so they had a longer growing season, resulting in wines that can be aged a long time. This classic chardonnay had notes of honeydew melon, white flower, citrus peel, and nice structured acidity that makes this wine pair great with shellfish and various seafood
