A blend of Trincadeira, Aragonês and Grand Noir grapes, this Portuguese wine is produced using talhas, or large clay vessels, an ancient winemaking process typical of the Alentejo region. The extended maceration offered with use of the talha results in a wine that is fruity and balanced, with soft tannins. Hints of dates, tobacco, black fruit, vanilla and spices on the nose.
