The Mountain Tides Winey was started by husband-and-wife team Scott Kirkpatrick & Allison Watkins, focusing solely on harvesting and producing Petite Sirah from all across California. Grown on the sandy soils of the Sacramento Delta in Contra Costa County, this rich red showcases a ruby red color and pretty aromas of blueberry, raspberry, cinnamon, and dried rose petals. It feels more elegant than aggressive – like a study in the tension between softness and strength.
