The Ligurian coastline is a place of incredible stories, incredible food, and without a doubt incredible and off the radar wines. Pierluigi Lugano has long raved about the local grapes grown and made into wine there. Because of the immensely challenging terrain almost all of the wines and vines are managed by hand. The Pigato grape in this wine is sourced from two vineyard sites, that showcase the truest character of the variety. The wine has great minerality, an enveloping viscosity, and unique floral aromatics. The 2018 will truly shine for decades but easily pairs with vegetable driven antipasti, herb forward fish dishes, and all of the other grilled seafood you can source.
