The wines of Terres Dorées are always in high demand and surprisingly we've been able to get some of their blanc (Chardonnay). Grown in the Charnay region, in the southern reaches of the Beaujolais, among the golden limestone and clay that really enhances the Chablisienne like flavor profile. The vine age is approaching 40 years old, providing an immense depth of flavors to the wines. The wine goes through 100% malolactic fermentation, yet retains so much mouthwatering salinity. The aromatics are of lemon verbena, meyer lemon, and slate. On the palate, fresh under-ripe pineapple, sea spray and a wonderful minerality to finish.
