The Mollet family originates from Pouilly-sur-Loire, which is also home to the limestone and flinty soil that gives Pouilly-Fumé its name (fumé means smoke). The resulting wine has the most body and concentration of all Loire Valley wines. Aged in stainless steel preserves the pear peach and graprefruit flavors and allows the mineral finish to leave a lasting impression in the mouth. The bracing acidity makes this a lovely compliment to ethnic dishes.
