2019 Recanati Special Reserve

$60.00

This Special Reserve Red is derived from a blend of Mediterranean and classic Bordelaise varieties grown on the Kadmat Tzvi vineyard in the Golan Heights. The wine is fermented in tanks and pressed, then transferred to new French oak barrels. Once the proper blend has been determined, they will be returned to barrels to mature further for another 18 months. This signature red wine is produced only in the best harvests.

Upper Galilee

Upper Galilee is located in Israel, north of Tel Aviv. It is often compared to California's Sonoma County in terms of climate, soil, and geographic location in relation to the ocean. Naturally, a lot of the same grape varieties grow here, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvginon Blanc. Mediterranean varieties, like Syrah, Carignan, and Petite Sirah, also grow exceptionally well here.
