As we explore wines, regions, producers, and obscure varieties it's always nice to go back to the classics. Well wait, Eden Valley isn't a classic region...but the Rieslings produced by our friends at Pewsey Vale are absolutely stunning and on their way to classic status. We're offering up the 2020 'Eden Valley' dry Riesling which comes from a selection oftheir estate vineyards. Insanely, all the vineyards have been propagated from the original vines planted on the site in 1847!! This vintage has incredible floral and herbal aromatics with a slight hint of petrol. On the palate it's akin to an Oro Blanco grapefruit with that deceiving sweet-tart essence, alongside perfect minerality, and hints of fresh rosemary. Our fridge will be stocked with this beautiful dry Riesling year-round!
