Savigny – Les Beaune is often overlooked due to its more popular neighbors Aloxe Corton and Beaune, but it often represents extraordinary value in Burgundy. Domaine Antonin Guyon, one of the largest family-owned wineries in the region, hand-harvests the Pinot Noir grapes, sorting in the winery before starting fermentation, a 15 day process in wooded open vats. The wine is aged for 15 months in 15% new oak creating an elegant, well balanced wine with fine tannins.
