The grapes used to make Puiatti’s Signature Fun Sauvignon come from the gravelly terrain of Isonzo, where the climate is mild and well-ventilated, with favorable diurnal variation. Vines are cultivated using the double-guyot training method, widely used in Bordeaux. Made from three clones which result in a Sauvignon Blanc closer in style to Sancerre than to Friuli or New World Sauvignons. The fragrances and tastes are more elegant and less aggressive with hints of herbs, cold climate fruits, apricot and white peach and a vibrant freshness.
